Membership Opportunities

The Mackinac Center for Public Policy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your gift is fully tax deductible.

The men and women who support the Mackinac Center through the following giving societies are the life-blood of our work. Through annual gifts and pledges, they provide regular support that allows us to budget and plan more effectively. These people are the visionaries and the leaders who want a better life for every one of Michigan’s citizens and are helping make it a reality.

Member $100-$499 annual contribution

Benefits:

  • The Mackinac Center’s bi-monthly mailing
    (similar to the ones sent to every Michigan legislator)

  • Quarterly Mailing of Impact!, our official news magazine.

  • Michigan Capitol Confidential
    (an investigative publication focusing on Michigan legislative activities)

Jefferson Society $500-$999 annual contribution

All the benefits of being a member plus:

  • Special updates on current issues and important topics.

  • Invitations to special events held around the state.

President’s Council $1,000-$9,999 annual contribution

All the benefits of Jefferson Society plus:

  • A Personal meeting with the President of the Mackinac Center

  • A President’s Council membership pin

  • Framed President’s Council certificate

  • Invitations to special events held at the Mackinac Center

1851 Society (Why 1851?) $10,000 or higher annual contribution

All the benefits of the President’s Council plus:

  • Personal updates from the President of the Mackinac Center

  • An "1851" Society pin

  • A special, framed "1851" Society certificate

Legacy Society

Your estate plans represent more than years of hard work or accumulated assets, they also reflect the values which you hold dear in life and wish to perpetuate. The Legacy Society recognizes people who make any bequest to the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.

Benefits of the Legacy Society are the same as those of the 1851 Society. You will also have the satisfaction and peace of mind knowing that your estate will work for the betterment of all people and the perpetuation of a civil society.

Contribute
